DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

From Project Brief to Production.

The work moves through definition, development, prototyping, a pilot run and mass production, with a review before each step. Projects that start from an existing design can begin at a later phase.

PROJECT ENTRY

Start from the work already complete.

The starting point depends on how much product, engineering and production work is already finished.

01

Early Product / Project Brief

For programs that still need product definition, an engineering scope or an initial feasibility review.

02

Defined Product / Engineering

Existing drawings, CAD, specifications or prototypes may provide the starting point for further engineering, DFM, validation or production preparation.

03

Existing Product / Manufacturing Program

For mature products that require a new manufacturing path, supplier transition, production review or additional manufacturing support.

FIVE PHASES

Define. Develop. Prototype. Pilot. Produce.

Every project runs in this order, and each phase ends with a review before the next one starts. What gets checked depends on the product and your requirements.

01

Define

Get the project clear enough to plan the next step.

  • 01 Project Brief
  • 02 Initial Review
  • 03 NDA if Required
客户通常提供

A non-confidential brief: product category, intended use, current stage and rough quantity or timing.

我们的工作

Check the scope against our capabilities, clarify requirements and decide whether confidential information is needed.

审核节点

We both know what the product needs to do and what happens next.

02

Develop

Turn the brief into a design that can be built.

  • 04 Design & Engineering
  • 05 DFM & Cost Evaluation
客户通常提供

Approved requirements, drawings or CAD, specifications and reference samples, where you have them.

我们的工作

Review materials, processes, tolerances, how the parts fit together and what the product will cost to make.

审核节点

The design and manufacturing route are ready for a first prototype.

03

Prototype

Hand samples, so you can check the product in hand before anything goes into production.

  • 06 Hand Samples
  • 07 Customer Review
  • 08 Testing & Revision
客户通常提供

Feedback on the samples and any test criteria the product has to meet.

我们的工作

Make the samples, run the agreed tests, then revise and resample if something needs to change.

审核节点

You approve the sample. The approved sample becomes the reference for production and inspection.

04

Pilot Run

A small batch on the production line before committing to full volume.

  • 09 Small-Batch Production
  • 10 Pilot Inspection
  • 11 Process Adjustments
客户通常提供

The pilot quantity, and whether you want pilot units shipped to you for evaluation.

我们的工作

Run the batch under normal production conditions, check parts against the approved sample and fix issues in tooling, process or assembly. Pilot units go to you for review when your program calls for it.

审核节点

You accept the pilot results and the line is ready for full production.

05

Mass Production

Build the full order, check it and ship it.

  • 12 Production
  • 13 Final Inspection & Release
  • 14 Packing & Shipment
客户通常提供

Order quantities, packaging requirements and delivery details.

我们的工作

In-process checks, assembly, final inspection against the approved sample, packing and shipment coordination.

审核节点

Required checks are complete and the goods are released for shipment.

ITERATION & APPROVAL

Prototype. Evaluate. Revise. Recheck. Approve.

Development is iterative. Findings from prototypes, testing or pre-production review may return the product to engineering before it proceeds.

Affected requirements are checked again after a revision. Approval requirements vary by program and customer.

PROJECT COMMUNICATION

A clear path for confidential information.

Initial discussions can begin with non-confidential information. If drawings, CAD, specifications or other proprietary information is needed, an NDA can be arranged before that information is shared.

Initial Inquiry → Project Review → NDA if Required → Confidential Information Exchange → Technical / Engineering Review

  • NDA Available
  • Confidential Project Review

START A PROJECT

Start with the Project Brief.

Tell us the product category, where the project stands and what has already been defined. We’ll review the brief and identify the next practical step.

After you approve the physical samples, we carry out a pilot production run and testing. Full-scale production begins only after the pilot run passes the required checks and receives your approval.

An NDA can be arranged before confidential project information is shared.
